Here is the collection of the most important verses of Bhagwadgita:-
81. सततं कीर्तयन्तो मां यतन्तश्च दृढव्रताः।
नमस्यन्तश्च मां भक्त्या नित्ययुक्ता उपासते।।
Always chanting my glory , endeavoring with great determination ,bowing down before me ,these great souls perpetually worship me with devotion.
82. अनन्याश्चिन्तयन्तो मां ये जनाः पर्युपासते।
तेषां नित्याभियुक्तानां योगक्षेमं वहाम्यहम्।।
But those who always worship me with exclusive devotion ,meditating on my transcendental form – to them I carry what they lack , and I preserve what they have .
83. यान्ति देवव्रता देवान् पितृ़न्यान्ति पितृव्रताः।
भूतानि यान्ति भूतेज्या यान्ति मद्याजिनोऽपि माम्।।
Those who worship the demigods will take birth among the demigods ,those who worship ancestors go to ancestors,those who worship ghosts and spirits will take birth among such being;and those who worship me will live with me .
84.पत्रं पुष्पं फलं तोयं यो मे भक्त्या प्रयच्छति।
तदहं भक्त्युपहृतमश्नामि प्रयतात्मनः।।
If one offers me with love and devotion a leaf , a flower fruit or water , I will accept it .
85. यत्करोषि यदश्नासि यज्जुहोषि ददासि यत्।
यत्तपस्यसि कौन्तेय तत्कुरुष्व मदर्पणम्।।
Whatever you do ,whatever you eat ,whatever you offer or give away ,and whatever austerities you perform ,do that – O son of Kunti , as an offering to me .
86.समोऽहं सर्वभूतेषु न मे द्वेष्योऽस्ति न प्रियः।
ये भजन्ति तु मां भक्त्या मयि ते तेषु चाप्यहम्।।
I envy no one ,nor am I partial to anyone . I am equal to all.But whoever renders service unto me in devotion as a friend is in me , and I am also a friend to him.
87. अर्जुन उवाच
परं ब्रह्म परं धाम पवित्रं परमं भवान्।
पुरुषं शाश्वतं दिव्यमादिदेवमजं विभुम्।।
आहुस्त्वामृषयः सर्वे देवर्षिर्नारदस्तथा।
असितो देवलो व्यासः स्वयं चैव ब्रवीषि मे।।
Arjuna said : You are the supreme personality of Godhead , the ultimate abode , the purest ,the absolute truth .You are the eternal , transcendental ,original person ,the unborn , the greatest .All the great sages such as Narada , devatas , vyasa confirms this truth about you , and now you yourself are declaring it to me .
89. यद्यद्विभूतिमत्सत्त्वं श्रीमदूर्जितमेव वा।
तत्तदेवावगच्छ त्वं मम तेजोंऽशसंभवम्।।
Know that all opulent ,beautiful and glorious creations springs from but a spark of my splendor .
90. ऊर्ध्वं गच्छन्ति सत्त्वस्था मध्ये तिष्ठन्ति राजसाः।
जघन्यगुणवृत्तिस्था अधो गच्छन्ति तामसाः।।
Those situated in the mode of goodness gradually go upward to the higher planets ,those in the mode of passion live on the earthly planets , and those in the abominable mode of ignorance go down to hellish world.
91. निर्मानमोहा जितसङ्गदोषा
अध्यात्मनित्या विनिवृत्तकामाः।
द्वन्द्वैर्विमुक्ताः सुखदुःखसंज्ञै
र्गच्छन्त्यमूढाः पदमव्ययं तत्।।
Those who are free from false prestige ,illusion and false association ,who understand the eternal who are done with material lust ,who are freed from the dualities of happiness and distress ,and who unbewildered know how to surrender unto the supreme person attains the eternal kingdom .
92. न तद्भासयते सूर्यो न शशाङ्को न पावकः।
यद्गत्वा न निवर्तन्ते तद्धाम परमं मम।।
The supreme abode of mine is not illuminated by the sun or moon ,nor by fire or electricity .Those who reach it never return to the material world .
93. ममैवांशो जीवलोके जीवभूतः सनातनः।
मनःषष्ठानीन्द्रियाणि प्रकृतिस्थानि कर्षति।।
The living entities in this conditioned world are my eternal fragment parts .Due to conditioned life , they are struggling very hard with the six senses , which includes the mind.
94. सर्वस्य चाहं हृदि सन्निविष्टो
मत्तः स्मृतिर्ज्ञानमपोहनं च।
वेदैश्च सर्वैरहमेव वेद्यो
वेदान्तकृद्वेदविदेव चाहम्।।
I am seated in everyone’s heart ,and from me comes remembrance ,knowledge and forgetfulness .By all the Vedas , I am to be known . Indeed , I am the compiler of the Vedanta, and I am the knower of the Vedas.
95. प्रवृत्तिं च निवृत्तिं च जना न विदुरासुराः।
न शौचं नापि चाचारो न सत्यं तेषु विद्यते।
Those who are demonaic do not know what is to be done and what is not to be done .Neither cleanliness , nor proper behaviour , nor truth is found in them .
96. शमो दमस्तपः शौचं क्षान्तिरार्जवमेव च।
ज्ञानं विज्ञानमास्तिक्यं ब्रह्मकर्म स्वभावजम्।।
Peacefulness ,self control , austerities ,purity ,tolerance , honesty ,knowledge ,wisdom and religiousness ,these are the natural qualities with which the Brahmans work .
97. षिगौरक्ष्यवाणिज्यं वैश्यकर्म स्वभावजम्।
परिचर्यात्मकं कर्म शूद्रस्यापि स्वभावजम्।।
Farming , cow protection and and business are the natural work for the Vaishyas and for Shudras there is labour and service to others .
98. ब्रह्मभूतः प्रसन्नात्मा न शोचति न काङ्क्षति।
समः सर्वेषु भूतेषु मद्भक्तिं लभते पराम्।।
One who is thus transcendentally situated at once realizes the supreme Brahman and becomes fully joyful . He never desires or lament to have anything .He is equally disposed toward every living entity .In that state he attains pure devotional service unto me .
99. ईश्वरः सर्वभूतानां हृद्देशेऽर्जुन तिष्ठति।
भ्रामयन्सर्वभूतानि यन्त्रारूढानि मायया।।
The Supreme Lord is situated in everyone’s heart ,O Arjuna and is directing the wanderings of all living entities ,who are seated as on a machine ,made of a material energy.
100. सर्वधर्मान्परित्यज्य मामेकं शरणं व्रज।
अहं त्वा सर्वपापेभ्यो मोक्षयिष्यामि मा शुचः।।
Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto me .I shall deliver you from all of your sinful reactions . Do not fear.
